Melodia
(Tuesdays 4:15-5:45 pm, Shadyside Presbyterian Church)
Our level 1 girlchoir for students in 1st – 3rd grades and newcomers.  Our age appropriate music and movement Kodaly based curriculum meets the developmental needs of young singers.  Choristers develop healthy vocal skills and are given a foundation in musical literacy through the use of children’s choral repertoire, multi-cultural folk songs, games and dances. This curriculum prepares choristers for part singing.

Harmonia
(Tuesdays 6:00-7:45 pm, Shadyside Presbyterian Church)
Our level 2 girlchoir for students in 3rd – 5th grades. This age appropriate, Kodaly based curriculum builds on the foundation laid by Melodia.  Students grow in their knowledge of musical literacy, and healthy vocal production.  In addition, choristers learn to sing two part repertoire in several languages. Graduation from Melodia is not a pre-requisite, but is highly recommended.

Via
(Tuesdays 6:00-8:00 pm, Shadyside Presbyterian Church)
Our Level 3 girlchoir, is for students in 6th – 9th grades. This Kodaly- based curriculum builds on the foundation laid by Harmonia.  Choristers perform two and three -part repertoire in several languages and develop advanced sight-singing skills. In Via, choristers prepare to give their first solo concert which they perform in Pittsburgh and throughout the region on a 2 – 3 day mini-tour.  Completion of Via prepares choristers to participate in Concentio, our advanced tour choir. Graduation from Harmonia is not a pre-requisite, but is highly recommended.

The Touring Choirs (Concentio and Chamber) feature choristers who have graduated through the Choral School or who have entered the Choir with an equivalent choral background.

Concentio
(Fridays 4:10-6:30 pm, Shadyside Presbyterian Church)
Concentio performs advanced three-part to six-part treble repertoire. Grades 8 through 12 are eligible.

Chamber Choir
(Mondays 7:00-9:00 pm, Shadyside Presbyterian Church)
This choir offers an opportunity for musically experienced members of Concentio to make an extraordinary commitment to choral singing. The Chamber Choir participates in additional weekly rehearsals and performs locally throughout Pittsburgh at additional community events.
